Brian Chavez
Brian Chavez graduated from Harvard University in 1993 and from the Texas Tech University School of Law in 1996, becoming a certified attorney on November 1, 1996. He returned to Odessa to practice with his dad (a United States Army veteran, former police officer, and former Ector County district attorney) in his well-established firm, The Chavez Law Firm.

Brian has handled numerous cases throughout his legal career and likes to say that he handles “anything from a parking ticket to a murder” in criminal courts across Texas and the United States. Brian is well respected in the legal community and renowned for knowing his clients’ cases inside and out, which has resulted in numerous “not guilty” verdicts and dismissals throughout his legal career.

Adrian Chavez
An experienced criminal defense attorney, Adrian Chavez attended Permian High School, graduating in 1987. He then went on to earn his BA in history from the University of Texas at El Paso in 1991 and his JD from Texas Tech University Law School in 1994. 

Adrian Chavez is licensed to practice in all Texas State Courts, the Supreme Court of Texas, and the United States District Court for the Western District of Texas and the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. Adrian Chavez is a member of the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association and The National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.

Luis Chavez

Criminal defense lawyer Luis Chavez graduated from El Paso Coronado High School in 1982 and received his BA in History from Texas Tech University in 1986. He received his Doctor of Jurisprudence from South Texas College of Law in 1989. 


Luis Chavez is licensed to practice in all Texas State Courts, the Supreme Court of Texas, U.S. Eastern District of Texas, and the United States District Court for the Western District of Texas, and the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. Luis Chavez is a member of the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association and The National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. From 1994-1996 he was a member of The College of the State Bar of Texas. He has been a board-certified personal injury lawyer since 1995.

Tony Chavez
Tony Chavez graduated from El Paso Austin High School in 1967 and received his BA in Political Science and English from University of Texas at El Paso in 1971. He received his Doctor of Jurisprudence from Texas Tech University Law School in 1978. Tony Chavez worked for the El Paso Police Department from 1967-1975, achieving the rank of sergeant. Tony Chavez served his country in the United State Army beginning in 1964 and was honorably discharged in 1967. Tony Chavez also served as an Assistant District Attorney for Ector County, Texas from 1978-1980. 

He is licensed to practice in all Texas State Courts, the Supreme Court of Texas, U.S. Eastern District of Texas, the United States District Court for the Western District of Texas, and the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. He is a member of the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association and The National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
